La S.P.A. des Cantons de L'Est a été fondée à Cowansville au printemps 2011 par Carl Girard, éducateur canin professionnel propriétaire d’Éduc-O-Chien et contrôleur animalier pour les villes de Farnham, Cowansville, Lac-Brome, Granby, Sutton, Shefford, Dunham, Waterloo, Abercorn, Bromont.

La S.P.A. Cowansville n’est pas un refuge mais plutôt une plaque tournante pour les animaux recherchant un nouveau foyer d’adoption.

The volunteers and all those associated with the S.P.A. have one thing in common: The passion of animals.

The S.P.A. des Cantons de L'Est was founded in Cowansville in the spring of 2011 by Carl Girard, who is a professional Canine Educator and owner of Educ-o-Chien and is the Animal Controller for the towns of Farnham, Cowansville, Lac-Brome, Granby, Sutton, Shefford, Dunham, Waterloo, Abercorn, Bromont.

The S.P.A. des Cantons de L'Est is not a refuge but is a turning point for animals that are looking for new adoptive homes.

 

Grâce à nos bénévoles, chaque nouveau pensionnaire est traité comme un individu. Nous lui donnons un nom provisoire, le promenons quotidiennement, le sortons à l’extérieur plusieurs fois par jour et jouons avec lui.
L’entraînement en obéissance et en agilité selon les aptitudes fait partie de la routine des chiens.

Thanks to our volunteers, each new boarder is treated as an individual, and are given a temporary name.
They are walked and exercised outdoors many times a day, and of course, we do play with them..
Depending on the dogs' aptitudes, obedience and agility training are part of their routines.
